Manitoba RCMP say they have received several complaints from the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Centre. Officers executed a search warrant at a home on Ile de Chênes on Thursday, where Corriveau was arrested on four counts, including possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, making available child pornography and production of written child pornography.
He was later released after his arrest on the orders of a judge, before being found dead.
Corriveau worked with the Winnipeg Police Service for 15 years. Police said they would not provide any further information about his arrest.
