Kyiv. January 25. UNN. Sweden has called on all countries to provide Ukraine with the necessary aid to defeat the Russian Federation, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Bilström has said, reports UNN.

Bielström pointed out that Sweden had agreed to the transfer of modern Archer artillery systems to Ukraine, “thus proving its own high ambitions to support Ukraine”. He said: “We encourage other countries in the EU and the world to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine at this time when the situation is in balance.”
“We must now step up our efforts and help Ukraine politically, financially, humanitarianly and, of course, militarily,” he added.
“Sweden is completely on Ukraine’s side, and we are convinced that the EU must do the same,” Bilström said.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson presented the priorities of his country’s EU Council Presidency during a speech to the European Parliament. He pointed out that priority the presidency will be Ukraine, since its victory in the war with Russia is “existential for the whole world”.
