Corner reflectors are considered an anachronism
The head of the Ministry of Defense showed one of the corner reflectors that littered the area near the bridge in Kherson.
The Russian military tried to defend itself against the strikes of the Armed Forces from long-range HIMARS launchers with corner reflectors. This was announced on Saturday, January 4 by the Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov, publishing the corresponding photo in Twitter.
“This is a military corner reflector. The entire area near the Kherson bridge was covered with dozens of such Russian reflectors. The enemy tried to use this anachronism to protect itself from … HIMARS,” the minister wrote.
Reznikov added that the Russian-Ukrainian war is a war of a free future against a totalitarian past.
