Kyiv. September 23. UNN. German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock has called on Russian President Putin to stop the war against Ukraine. The Minister said this at the meeting of the UN Security Council in New York, devoted to the situation in Ukraine UNN.
“This is a war you cannot win. Stop sending more of your citizens to their deaths,” Burbock said.
She also demanded the end of the referendums planned in the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia, which would allow Moscow to annex these territories. Burbok also criticized Russia for its grain policy “fueling world hunger”.
Berbok criticized Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who left the Security Council meeting immediately after his speech.
The minister also dismissed Russian plans for partial mobilization, saying there was no queue of volunteers wanting to join the conflict in Moscow.
“Instead, we see brave men, women and even children taking to the streets because they don’t want to be part of this war against Ukraine,” she said.
