The attacker “directed” Russian missiles at military and strategically important objects in the Kharkiv region.
According to the investigation, the accomplice of the invaders turned out to be a resident of Donetsk region, who was recruited by the MGB DNR under the control of the aggressor at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
At the direction of the enemy, he moved to Kharkiv to collect information about the location of the Defense Forces units, military and important critical infrastructure facilities. To do this, he went out into the city, where he made photo and video recordings of objects and marked their geolocation on electronic maps.
He transmitted the received information through a “liaison”. He turned out to be a militant of the terrorist organization “DNR”, who was part of the occupation group in the eastern direction. For communication, a pre-developed telegram channel was used, and the transmission of intelligence data was carried out in the form of media files with a text description of the nearby territory of the object.
During the search of the detainee’s residence, law enforcement officers found a mobile phone with evidence of the suspect’s communication with the occupiers.
SBU investigators informed the traitor about suspicion of collaborationism. The court chose him as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
