Police said they have arrested three teenage boys and a 19-year-old after investigating a fight in Grimsby that left a 13-year-old boy injured.
Niagara Regional Police said in a press release that officers were called after reports of a fight near Willow Lane and Hemlock Way, about a half-hour east of Hamilton, on Sept. 21. When officers arrived, police said they found more than 50 young people at the scene just after noon.
A 13-year-old boy suffered minor injuries in the fight, police said.
Police said less than a day later, officers were told a video of the fight was circulating online. The video showed the boy being punched and kicked by at least seven people, said Niagara police in a statement.
Police are asking anyone who might have the video to delete it.
Detectives have arrested four people after investigating, police said.
A 13-year-old boy from West Lincoln was charged with robbery and assault, a 15-year-old boy from West Lincoln was charged with robbery and a 14-year-old boy from Lincoln was charged with robbery. Names of the three young accused were not released and are protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police said they also charged Tyler Susi, a 19-year-old from Grimsby, with robbery.
All four have been released from police custody and expected to appear in court on future dates.
