A St. Catharines man is facing charges after border services officers discovered an international package containing $145,000 worth of ketamine.
The Canada Border Services Agency notified Niagara Police of the package sent from Germany to an address in St. Catharines earlier this month.
Officers say there were nearly 4 kg of ketamine in the package.

On Tuesday, investigators carried out a search warrant in the city. As a result, the police arrested and charged Xuan Anh Vo, 64, with the following offences:
- Import a Schedule I substance over one kilogram – Sec. 6(1) CDSA
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Art. 5(2) CDSA
Vo was scheduled to appear in St. Catharines court on Wednesday for a bail hearing.
